How to determine is your Android devices are support GLONASS? You can use an apps called GPS Test Plus. Every satellite position will has a PRN number. PRN number from 1 to 32 are for GPS Satellites and PRN number from 65 to 88 are for GLONASS satellites.
To save battery energy, the devices will use GLONASS signal only when the GPS signal is weak.
